Why Ayurveda?
Over past years I have explored and discovered many different holistic approaches and health optimistaion protocols; Biohacking, Keto dieting, Paleo diet, cutting out this and that, different exercise methods, supplementations and many moreβ¦Years of trials and there was nothing that sticked and fully resonated with me or gave sustainable results, until I came across Ayurveda. It was first time I could feel that I had found a complete and all comprehensive system that included and respected all the aspects of a human being; mind, body and spirit on an equal importance level.
The knowledge of Ayurveda comes from more than 5000 years ago, from Vedic culture, from some of the oldest Indian texts in the world. It is considered to be a mother of all healing arts and many other forms of medicine have their roots in Ayurveda, such as; Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, Reiki and acupuncture.
I call Ayurveda an ancient biohacking system because it is focused on prevention of disease, longevity and good health. The system is very closely connected to the nature and natures rhythm, recognizing that humans are part of it and affected by our ecosystem, witch is so logical. Ayurveda is based on an eternal wisdom, not constantly changing research data.
Ayurveda covers everything about life; food, schedule, emotions, mental health, physical health, spiritual health, environment, relationships, illness and cure.
What I also love about Ayurveda, is that it gives the power back to us to aid and heal ourselves. By becoming curious, learning and understanding about our own unique mind and body construct. And that is a true superpower!
For me personally Ayurveda brought so many incredible shifts and benefits for my body and mind, such as; helped to heal my digestion, improved sleep, got rid of sugar cravings, calmed my nervous system and overall got me more into a peaceful and present mind and state of being. And most importantly helped me to understand myself on an individual mind-body-spirit level. I am only recommending Ayurveda because of these incredible results I saw on myself.
In the upcoming blogs I will go deeper and explain the basics of Ayurveda; The 5 elements, Micro and macrocosmos, Doshas, Ayurvedic rhythms, Ayurvedic habits and lifestyle tips, food in Ayurveda etcβ¦
But for now start connecting to the fact that we are a multidimentional Being, deeply connected to the nature, that we exsist in this body, mind and spirit and need to be approached from that understanding to find harmony and balance in our lives.
